Newbbie for this project , please help
#1
Hello ,
 happy the new year
I am new in all these things , I tried to read and to understand how all these can works for me , but I have lost reading all these articles, so If anyone can help , any help will be welcome. I have read most of the  projects, but I cannot understand which one is the correct for the Chinese calipers.
I like to use at least one ( better 3 calipers )  digital Chinese caliper and using Arduino Uno via bluetooth I like send the data to an android ( using the touchDRO  ). Thats my questions :
1. can I find the complete schematic with the bluetooth connections ? ( I read that I need to change the the CLK & DATA voltage level , and also the caliper's power supply ).
2. Can I find the source code for the Arduino ? Is open source ? which is the correct version for my case ? any link for download ?
3. For the bluetooth transmission, need to load any extra code to Arduino  and if yes instructions and any Link ?
4. what is the correct TouchDRO version ? ( android v4.2 )
 thanks for helping

Hi,
Arduino version supports only the "classic" iGaging DigiMag scales. For calipers you need MSP430 and the mixed scale firmware.
There is only one version of TouchDRO and it will work with Android 4.2 (although 4.2 has a known BlueTooth stack problem that some manufacturers suffer from).
