HC06

I recently built on breadboard the Arduino interface.
The HC06 bt modules I got say the logic levels for rx/tx need to be 3v.
I can pair the bt with my Lenovo tablet running Android 4.4.2, then running the app it connects briefly but drops again, although the led on the bt module is solid.

If the logic levels are not at the level required by the bt module will this cause the effect I'm seeing?

Ok, bit of an update on this....

I've managed to get my dro to work.....the bt module is fine

My thanks to Yuriy for the diagnostic tests, using them helped me identify issues....or better still, what was working...
In the end I swapped out my Arduino board for another and its working great....
