From Yuri's own info

Scale Compatibility
The controller is compatible with majority of glass and magnetic scales currently on the market (up to 1um resolution), as well as many optical and magnetic rotary encoders with standard 5V RS422 output. Some of the compatible brands include Ditron, Easson, DRO Pros and many others.

I run 2 of his boards and both work with RS422 scales but the firmware must be quadrature.

Hi Oltech1000,

The following assumes that your scales have the common 5V RS422 levels. Higher voltages will require work outside the scope of this post.

There are two TouchDRO products that do quadrature but they have different interfaces.

The older through hole kit, is called the mixed signal and needs quadrature firmware, it requires some mods for 5V scales and only uses one of each of the RS422 signals, Say A+ and B+. I have posted the mods.

The newer ready built SMT one should be good to go I think if quadrature firmware is loaded (I have the older one).
