Now I am getting 0 rpm, my sensor stays HI and then low when the magnet comes around.

I might try more magnets. Seems like this once worked.

Hi Ralph, not sure of what rpm you are testing at but with just one magnet you will need to have 120 rpm plus for a reading. Below that it will read zero.  My Sainsmart module does the same. About 3.25-3.3 volts sans magnet and goes low to about .15 volts when the magnet is presented.

thanks I have a lot more magnets so I'll give it a try. I believe my RPM are much higher but more will not hurt.
