SHAHE Digital linear scale Model 5404 - will it work??

Hi, I'm about to add a DRO to my RF45 clone Mill and was wondering if anyone has tried the SHAHE DLS Model 5404 range of scales?

Yes, I tried them and they didn't work in conjunction with an Arduino (don't know about the other boards available). See this thread ... https://forum.yuriystoys.com/showthread.php?tid=221

If you are based in the UK, the scales I detail in that thread work just fine with the Arduino set up.

Hi Morgan,

Here is my modest contribution.
I am using the scales 5404-300 and 5404-150 with the Mixed Scale Firmware for MSP430 LaunchPad and are working perfectly.
Set the CPI paramater to the value 506.500 that will work perfectly.
