Clausing 8420 Spindle DRO

Anyone mounted a DRO on a Clausing 8520 Spindle?

Do you have some pictures.

I have the rest of the axis setup but having trouble with the Spindle.

Would love to!  My next move is a tach.

I have a tach on my list of things to do that plus a AMP meter.

Is TouchDRO just looking for a pulse?

I have been looking online, and find IR sensors that just output a pulse.

I do not not understand what the the second tach connection is for.

Or even build one yourself, ta da, it is that simple!! I used some reflective tape and painted my pulley black.

Nice!  Please post a few pics if you can I'm sure people would love to see your setup.
I'm getting my board and housing in next week so I'll in next week so I'll be rigging up my Smithy 3 in 1 with 3 axises and I want to do what you did right afterwards.
