I was recently contacted by a gentleman wanting to build a Touch DRO controller and has been attempting to sign up for this forum, but never gets authorized for posting.
His name is Chris Green and signed up with user name "chrispgreen".

I activated his account. 
I'm getting hundreds of spam account registrations per day, so a lot of legitimate users registration requests are getting lost. I'm tyring to figure something out to stop the flood, but so far with no luck.

I understand the whole SPAMMER issue and don't envy you on that a bit.
If you want, I know a guy who's been a moderator on a few forums that had similar issue and ask how they solved their problem.
