You are looking for something like this: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:...opened.JPG
Newer power adapters use a switching power supply inside and are generally small and lighter. The old-style ones have a heavy transformer which provides mains isolation. You should be able to find quite a few in a thrift store for a couple of dollars. Look for ones that have output voltage between 6V and 12V.
I'll check if I have a small one in my "junk box" and if it fits into the box, I'll send you one with the board.
Hope this helps.
Thank you

I've got plenty of the 'Iron' wall-warts sitting around.
- With a voltage of 6-12VDC doesn't it need to be stepped down to 5V for the Board?
I've also got some 5VDC mobile phone chargers but those must be the 'swtiching' style since they're so light in weight. I used one of them to power the Mitutoyo before I knew that the 'X' scale was wrecked.
