Igaging scales capacitor fix for jumping values

Since I've tried everything else (cables, isolation, etc)
I'm down to this lol.  Not sure of the exact location and sizing though if someone could give me some guidance?  Also I have some .47 uF capacitors on hand not sure if that  would be ok for this ?

My Shars scales had VDD and GND conveniently marked on the read head circuit board, so maybe the iGaging heads do too. I used an ohmmeter to find a more convenient spot to connect that leg of the cap on mine, though. An ohmmeter is your friend in this.

Thanks. Will .47 uF ones work as well or do I need a specific rating? And it just goes from Vdd to ground so that she voltage to ground ?

As long as they are small ceramic capacitors 0.47uf should be fine. I just had some 0.1uf on hand. Power to ground is what you want. Look at https://forum.yuriystoys.com/showthread.php?tid=129.

Thanks!  Looks like doing the tape trick on each scale end, plus ferrite  on the lines, and plugging into a different circuit have so far calmed it down but its only a matter of time before something goes dirty on that circuit and I'm back in the crap again so putting these on as a preventative measure seems like a good idea to me.
