Hi Yuriy and all,
I would first of all like to say that i have found the TouchDRO software and hardware guides great, they have been very helpful for my project. However i am not using the read outs for a lathe or milling machine but instead using it as guides for my robot movements as it has to be operated 'blind'. The read outs along with cameras allow me to know what my robot is doing.
What i wish the TouchDRO software would allow me to do is to datum between two or three points using and remembering the absolute proximity and then to be able to display the distance between the datums as a percentage. for example.. lets say my robot rested position is at '50' abs, when the robot turns fully to the right it is at '100'abs and when the robot turns fully left its at '0'. I would want 50 abs to display as 0%, 100 abs to display as 100% and 0abs to display as -100%. And in the case of having only two datums, to display only 0 - 100 %.
I would be willing to pay (with in reason) for the development of these changes.
Thanks and Best Regards,
