Power supply for adapter board kit - 9t8z28 - 12-10-2016

My girlfriend is going to be purchasing me the fully assembled adapter board for Christmas.  I have iGaging EZ View scales with micro B connectors.
I need a power supply.  I don't know what to get ?  How many AC/DC volts?  Amps?  What style connector or will I be cutting this?  Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.   I have seen where old style power supplies are recommended but I'm looking for something I can buy new online

9t8z28,
These are power adapters from Fry's - 7742528 Cyberpower and 7939110 Philmore. The #s are Fry's stock #s. They are both adjustable from 3 up to 12VDC and have 7 or 8 plug-in connectors. Each one has the proper connector for Yuriy's boards. The Philmore is a bit heftier and has right angle connectors. The Cyberpower has straight connectors. Each can be set at 3 or 4.5 or 5 VDC output. The polarity of the connectors is reversible. Make sure they are + polarity. Easy to follow instructions are included. They are  $18.00 each and ship from Memphis, TN.

I've decided the to stick with a 9V adapter from my spares box as it has the heftiest transformer and so far doesn't seem to overpower the board. Nice to have back-ups, though. Hope this helps.
