Connected/Not Connected - Briney Eye - 09-27-2018
I have a four-axis mill setup that periodically grays out the display and shows the "Connect" prompt, but is actually still connected and updates the axis values. The only way to un-confuse it is to reboot the Amazon Fire tablet that I'm using. I'm thinking that my two-axis lathe setup which is also running on a Fire tablet does the same thing, but I realized that I've never tried moving anything when it was grayed out.

I have a completely different Tablet that does the same with my 4 axis fully built board and 2 axis DIY board setups, a tablet reboot solves it but it can be annoying.

Good to know that I'm not the only one. I did a little research into it, and the next time it happens I'm going to try a "Force Stop" on the app, which would be less annoying than rebooting the tablet.
