I've had small chips get inside my scales and cause them to jump sometimes. I know there are other reasons why the reading may jump as well (EMF, etc.).
It would be really nice if TouchDRO warned of a jump. I believe it would just need to watch for a instantaneous position change larger than x. Right now I'm trying to keep an eye on my work and on TouchDRO to make sure the numbers didn't jump.
