Why do you have to use Bluetooth?
Why can't you just plug into a Android tablet with USB?

The app works with either, but BlueTooth is more reliable and flexible.

TouchDRO apk should work fine on 4.2.2 JellyBean, right? My Galaxy Tab 2 can't be upgraded to KitKat

To my knowledge none of the Samsung tablets suffer from the BT bug that was present in 4.2.2 on some other tablets, so you are good to go. I use Galaxy Tab 2 on my mill had never had any issues, although mine is rooted and has been running custom ROM for some months now.
