Would it be possible to be able to set inside/outside measurements for each probe point?
I was machining a step feature, and needed to drill a hole in the center of the step. I tried to pick up the front of the step (outside measurement), then the back of the step (inside measurement)... But when I tapped the inside/outside button, it switched all the coordinates to "outside".
This has the effect of placing the DRO center exactly one probe-tip-diameter forward (towards the front of the part) of the ACTUAL center.
